The Dundee University Research and Academic Medicine Society (DRAMS) is a student-led society within the University of Dundee’s School of Medicine. The aim of the society is to promote research and academic medicine within the School, and to assist in the provision of opportunities for students who wish to engage in research during their undergraduate years.
DRAMS organise a number of events and workshops throughout the academic year to raise awareness of the advantages of exposure to research and to highlight the different pathways medical students can follow to access the various opportunities open to them. The events enable students to interact with researchers, academics and like-minded students at varying stages of their studies and careers, thus allowing students to learn about other peoples' experiences first-hand.
For more information on DRAMS events, please consult the DRAMS Website.
