Medical students can take part in research projects at various points in their degree.

SSC in Research Practice

Opportunity for students to research a topic in depth during their medical degree. 

DCAT Vacation Studentships

Opportunity for students to work in a research environment during summer break.

Intercalated BMSc

Medical students can study a BMSc by taking a break from the medical curriculum. 

Students study topic(s) of their choice in depth, gaining experience of research.

DRAMS

The Dundee Research and Academic Medicine Society (DRAMS) is a student-led society within the University of Dundee’s School of Medicine.

The society promotes research and academic medicine within the School. It also helps provide opportunities for undergraduate students to engage in research.
