Meghan Perry

DCAT would like to congratulate Meghan on being awarded First prize for the best scientific presentation at the British Infection Association Annual Meeting in London.


November 2013

Suzanne Elcombe

DCAT is delighted to announce and would like to congratulate 2008 Wellcome Trust Clinical Fellow, Suzanne Elcombe, who has won the Royal College of Pathologists Speciality Research Medal for Immunology for her work on Dectin1.


Meghan Perry

DCAT has the pleasure of announcing that 2009 Wellcome Trust Clinical Fellow Meghan Perry's abstract was placed first for the Wilfred Card lectureship. Meghan was invited to present her abstract on 4th December 2013.


October 2013

Deborah Lockhart

MRC Clinical Fellow Deborah Lockhart, presented her poster entitled: "Aspergillus fumigatus GNA1: fragment screening gets groovy" at the 2013 Trends in Medical Mycology (TIMM) congress in Copenhagen. DCAT is delighted to announce that Deborah was one of six researchers from across Europe to be awarded the "European Confederation of Medical Mycology (ECMM) Young Investigator Travel Award" for scientific quality, novelty, reliability and significance of her presentation.


Kashyap Patel

DCAT would like to congratulate Wellcome Trust Clinical Fellow, Dr Kashyap Patel, on successfully completing his PhD. Kash gave his final PhD seminar entitled “The Role of Salt-inducible Kinases in Hepatic Gluconeogenesis” on Monday 14 October 2013 in the Colleg of Life Sciences, University of Dundee and succesfully passed his viva.
